My name is Rebecca and I run Duke’s Adventures, a friendly and reliable pet service based in Astley.
I am an experienced pet owner; I currently have a dog (Duke) and 2 cats (Twinkle & Sparkle). I previously helped out at a local Greyhound rescue with walks and fund raising. I have a diploma in animal psychology and have studied canine communication, dog training and business pet care. I am a qualified canine first aider and fully DBS checked.
For 13 years I worked in the construction industry. I loved the challenges and variety it brought but found my favourite part of the day was taking Duke for a walk. The most rewarding part of the week was helping out at the Greyhound rescue.
I decided it was time to hang up my hard hat and follow a lifelong dream of working with animals. As an animal owner myself, having someone to rely on and who I could trust with my pets while I was away, has always been my priority. My aim is to provide a service so you can relax safe in the knowledge your pets are receiving the very best care and attention.
And this is Duke…
a seven year old Bichon Frise and the inspiration behind Duke’s Adventures. Duke loves chasing round the garden, learning new tricks and doing his mini agility course. His favourite toy is his green ball (which he’s had since he was puppy)
There is no greater sight then seeing Duke running along the beach or bounding through the woods. I would like to be able to share the fun and Adventures we have with other dogs.
